Can I fart in space?
Yes, you can fart in space — just don't expect it to disappear into the void or smell less awful.
Farting in space is physically possible since your body still produces gas, and zero gravity doesn't stop biological processes. However, in the confined environment of a spacecraft, that stinky air lingers and gets everyone’s attention, because ventilation systems only do so much. So sure, you can fart in space, but be prepared for some very awkward astronaut moments.
