BAD IDEA
Can an influencer be considered a religion?
No, an influencer isn’t a religion, but some fans might treat their posts like sermons anyway.
An influencer is just a person who shares content online hoping you’ll buy stuff or borrow their lifestyle. Calling that a religion is a stretch even by online standards, though some followers might pray to their latest Insta pic like it’s gospel. Religion involves deep-rooted beliefs, rituals, and often centuries of tradition — none of which you get from a TikTok dance. So no, influencers don’t get a free pass to be holy just yet.
